Volunteers for this school canteen role, assist canteen staff to prepare healthy, wholesome meals for students.
The canteen is open Tuesday to Friday from 08:30 until 14:30 during school terms. Currently there are 2 staff working in the canteen. The volunteer would be supervised by the Canteen Manager. Training is available online and free to complete. The following are compulsory: • Food Safe certificate. • All About Allergens Training for Schools.
Key Tasks
Volunteer duties could include labelling food and drink items, helping prepare food, packaging food, washing dishes, cleaning surfaces, serving students, counting items (for stock take).
