Who we are looking for:

• caring and compassionate, patient, non-judgemental volunteers who are good listeners and comfortable with quiet moments and meaningful conversation
• interested in supporting the emotional and spiritual well-being of our residents
• active participation in, and recognition from, a church community with a willingness to operate within Bethanie’s theological approach, founded in the teaching of Churches of Christ.

About this role:

• as a valued volunteer, this fulfilling role will see you assist our dedicated Chaplaincy team in providing person-centred care which meets the emotional, social and spiritual needs of our residents.
• our Pastoral Care volunteers build trusted and meaningful relationships with our residents, journeying alongside them to support their participation and wellbeing through pastoral and spiritual engagement.
