We are seeking a dedicated and experienced volunteer Company Secretary to join our board and play a critical role in ensuring the organisation’s compliance with governance and regulatory requirements. This is an exciting opportunity to contribute to a growing ed-tech nonprofit making a difference in the lives of hundreds of disadvantaged students across Australia.

Key Responsibilities

  • Ensure the organisation complies with its statutory obligations, including reporting to regulatory bodies such as the ACNC.

  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date records, including meeting minutes, governance documents, and board resolutions.

  • Advise the board on legal, regulatory, and governance matters.

  • Organise board meetings, prepare agendas, and ensure the timely distribution of material

  • Oversee updates to organisational policies and governance frameworks.

About You

  • A strong communicator who can work collaboratively with diverse board members and stakeholders.

  • Passionate about education and making a positive social impact.

  • Detail-oriented and highly organised, with excellent administrative skills.

  • Knowledgeable about corporate governance and regulatory compliance, ideally with experience in the not-for-profit sector.
