RAH - Guide Volunteer
Royal Adelaide Hospital, Hampstead Rehabilitation Centre and Repat Health Precinct Volunteers
- Greet and welcome visitors and patients to the Royal Adelaide Hospital.
- Guide or provide directions to visitors and patients to assist them in getting to their destination or outpatient clinic.
- Provide information to visitors on hospital and local amenities such as shops, cafeterias, rest rooms, taxis, car parking and public transport.
- Providing patients with practical support during the waiting period and, if requested, during treatment.
- Offering comfort to family and friends of patients.
- Assist with general activities and tasks that support the Volunteer Services Unit.
Special requirements:
- Have the physical ability to undertake the duties in a safe manner.
- Complete a clear and current criminal screening check.
- Comply with Work Health & Safety and Infection Control requirements.
- Comply with SA Health Immunisation guidelines including annual flu vaccinations.
- Complete all annual mandatory training requirements.
