Volunteer Street Outreach/Homeless Support Worker - Gold Coast

The Street Outreach Service will be patrolling the Gold Coast area. Providing harm minimisation, support, information, referrals and crisis intervention to individuals who may be homeless on the streets or otherwise at risk.
The patrols are staffed by trained volunteers and provide drinks and snacks, emotional support where required, transport where young people are otherwise at risk, information on a wide range of issues and available services, information on issues regarding health, social or lifestyle issues, alcohol and other drugs and referrals and connections to other professional agencies.
