Are you able to volunteer a few hours, either occasionally or on a regular basis, to help transport people? By using our vehicles, you’ll support those in need and help them stay connected to the community. As a registered volunteer, we can also assist you in obtaining your DHS clearances and provide training at no cost.

Commitment

Regular - less than 6 months

Training

Driver Induction and on the job training provided.

Time required

Drivers are typically required during business hours, although occasional early morning and late afternoon bookings may arise. All volunteer drivers will be consulted prior to any scheduled bookings and always have the option to accept or decline each transport request. Use of a business vehicle and fuel card is provided.

Reimbursement

Meal allowance provided for shifts longer than 4-5 hours.
