Logo for Cancer Patients Foundation Ltd

Look Good Feel Better is a free national community service program run by the Cancer Patients Foundation, dedicated to teaching cancer patients how to manage the appearance-related side-effects caused by cancer treatment.

We are looking for experienced beauty advisers, makeup artists, demonstrators or those with a general love of cosmetics who are comfortable demonstrating to join our team of valued volunteers at the Sydney Adventist Hospital - Jacaranda Lodge in Wahroonga, NSW. Our volunteers help our participants face their cancer diagnosis with confidence through face-to-work workshops which cover skincare, makeup and head-wear tips. We will provide all training so you don't have to be a professional beauty therapist, but must be comfortable speaking in front of a small group.

As a LGFB volunteer, we ask that you:

  • Have a love of cosmetics and a passion for helping others.
  • Be willing to commit to at least four workshops per year.
  • Work as part of a team.
  • Adhere to LGFB volunteer policies and complete relevant documents (including a National Police Check).
