Are you passionate about animal welfare and have a knack for crafting engaging content? Into Loving Homes Foundation is seeking a Volunteer Newsletter Writer and Builder to create compelling, heartfelt newsletters that inspire support for our mission.

Your role will help people learn about our no-shelter animal adoption service, ensuring more and more animals can be rehomed via our home to home adoption service- staying out of shelters altogether.

Key Duties: As a Volunteer Newsletter Editor and Builder, you will:

• Design, write, and build engaging email newsletters using Mailchimp and Canva.
• Highlight adoption success stories, sponsorship opportunities, urgent appeals, and upcoming events.
• Collaborate with the team to gather updates, photos, and content for newsletters.
• Use your creativity to craft subject lines and calls-to-action that encourage engagement.
• Review and test email campaigns to ensure accuracy, consistency, and professionalism.

Skills and Experience Needed:
To excel in this role, you’ll need:

• To be self driven
• Have own computer
• Experience with Mailchimp (we can teach you Canva and use our Canva Pro).
• Strong writing skills, with the ability to create professional, heartfelt, and persuasive content (ideal not essential)
• An eye for design and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of email marketing best practices (preferred).
• Passion for animal welfare and a deep understanding of Into Loving Homes Foundation's mission.
• Ability to work independently and meet deadlines while following briefs and staying on brand at all times.
