Italian Speaking Community Visitor

We are seeking an Italian speaking Volunteer who would like to be a companion to an elderly Italian person in residential care in Armadale under the Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme.

The volunteer would visit the client with the aim of reducing social isolation and help improve the client's quality of life, confidence and self-worth.

Visits may include conversations or taking part in simple games or activities within the home, depending on the clients' interests and wishes. Visits always take place in the client's place of residence. Please note this position is advertised through Armadale Volunteer Services.
