Event Volunteers - Townsville

Volunteering North Queensland is seeking interest from those wanting to volunteer for events in Townsville and surrounding regions. We have many wonderful events coming to Townsville which require volunteers for a short period of time and does not require ongoing commitment. The scale of these events can vary from fetes and community gatherings to expos, festivals and state or interstate sporting events delivered by community groups, Not-For Profit organisations, private organisations or Local and State Government. Skills required are usually of a general nature, such as a positive attitude and the desire to provide a great participant experience. Induction is provided by those organising the event. As an Event Volunteer, your contribution is greatly valued by the organisers and community alike. At the same time, you will gain social reward and experience the fun of being involved.
