Basketball Coach, After Dark - PCYC Zillmere

Do you have a couple of hours per week to make a difference in the lives of young people in your community? PCYC Queensland is a community-based organisation that supports the development of young people through the provision of sporting and recreational activities.

We're looking for an enthusiastic Basketball Coach to support delivery of After Dark Basketball. After Dark provides opportunities for young people to engage in diversion-based programs in a safe and inclusive environment. The programs allow young people to socialise, engage in physical activity to promote health and well-being and, decrease opportunity to engage in risk taking behaviours.

Volunteers play a vital role in our programs, ensuring activity spaces are safe and inclusive while supporting program facilitators to deliver a mix of activities based on the needs of young people in the community.

Successful applicants must be willing to apply for Blue Card, hold a current Blue Card or Exemption Card as part of their working with children check requirement.
