Volunteer Visitor (Aged Care Volunteer Visitors Scheme) – Hughes
Advertised by VolunteeringACTAgeing (COTA) ACT is looking to add to their amazing team of volunteers to visit residents at Warrigal Hughes as part of the successful Aged Care Volunteer Visitors program.
We’re seeking volunteers with a genuine interest in developing an ongoing relationship with an older person. In this role you can expect to make a friend, share ideas and stories and help someone who may be feeling isolated or lonely. Having a great coffee at one of the on-site cafes is also a bonus!
We welcome applications from people with a variety of cultures and backgrounds who can commit to weekly visits for 2.5 hours on a Tuesday morning. Also, please let us know what other languages you can speak.
