VOLUNTEER DRIVER MENTOR
- Assist students to develop their driving skills through regular weekly driving lessons
- Check in and check out of each lesson using the Deputy kiosk rostering application
- Conduct vehicle safety checks before & after every shift, reporting any issues to program coordinator
- Refuel the vehicle only using the fuel card provided, retain receipt & make a note in logbook.
- Complete vehicle logbook at beginning and end of each shift.
- Keep vehicle clean & tidy. Remove all rubbish & report any spills.
- Facilitate learner participation & encourage student feedback
- Ensure the learner logbook ( for under 25’s) is completed each lesson
- Participate in regular check-ins with coordinator, to provide program & learner feedback
- Be familiar with the Uniting Code of Conduct and key safety procedures
- Please note that any fines incurred while driving are your responsibility
- Cancellation to your scheduled shift should be provided with adequate notice
