Logo for Rights Information and Advocacy Centre

Rights Information Advocacy Centre (RIAC) is a not-for-profit organisation that provides advocacy and support services dedicated to supporting individuals with disabilities, their families and carers. This volunteer role with RIAC supports people within our community who have difficulty accessing services and support because they are unable to complete the required paperwork or online information. Volunteers assist RIAC staff to provide a safe and inviting space where people can come in without an appointment, to gain support at our ‘InForm Hub’, held every Tuesday between 10am – 2pm. Volunteers will have excellent interpersonal communication, competent IT skills, as well as respect for and understanding of diversity. An understanding of the Disability Sector well regarded.
