Community Friend Volunteer; Enjoy Culture & catching up with Dee (Wyndham Vale)

Do you enjoy connecting with people and making a positive difference in someone’s life? The Community Friend Program (CFP) is looking for a friendly, reliable volunteer to spend time with Dee!

Dee is excited about the idea of making a new friend! She is seeking a volunteer who is female who can vibe with on a cultural connection.

Dee's interests include; Music, Bollywood, drives to scenic places, movies, eating out, native drives, coffee catch-ups, walks in parks, cycling, historical places, music events, community events, Indian festivities / traditions events, catching a train to the city for community events and shopping (including window shopping!) Dee can speak fluent Hindi and can understand Punjabi.

Dee was previously a fashion designer with a known Bolly-wood star.

This role requires 2-3 hours per week minimum with a participant in person, a 30 minute phone call per week and a **12 month ***minimum *commitment.

Volunteers must be 18 years or over, undergo a NDIS Worker Screener Check, undergo an international police check if you have lived outside Australia for more than one year in the last 10 years, provide 2 professional referees and provide a fortnightly commitment for a minimum of 12 months.
