As a Volunteer, You Will:

Play an important role in nurturing and enhancing the beautiful grounds and gardens surrounding Perron Place. Your efforts will help create a welcoming, peaceful, and vibrant outdoor space that everyone—from visitors to staff—can enjoy and feel comfortable in. You’ll be part of a team that brings life and beauty to our community environment, contributing to an inviting atmosphere where diversity is celebrated.


What You’ll Do:

  • Plant, prune, and care for garden beds to keep them thriving and colorful
  • Keep outdoor areas tidy by sweeping and weeding
  • Use basic gardening tools safely and effectively
  • Assist with general handy tasks around the grounds

What We’re Looking For:

  • A friendly, positive attitude and a genuine passion for volunteering
  • A willingness to learn and contribute your skills—no green thumb or trade experience required but definitely valued!
  • Ability to work independently while feeling part of a supportive team
  • Enjoyment of outdoor work and being active in nature
  • Commitment to helping maintain a space that welcomes people from all walks of life
  • Physical ability to lift and carry items occasionally
  • Ability to adapt to a busy, diverse environment with enthusiasm and reliability

Important Info:

  • A current Police Clearance (dated within the last six months) is required. Don’t have one? No problem! EverAbility Group will help you apply during the volunteer onboarding process.
  • Flexibility and a cooperative spirit are key as we work together to keep Perron Place beautiful and functional.
