Get ready for an exciting and rewarding evening of fun and FUNdraising! Join us as a volunteer for the Starlight Children's Foundation Five Chefs Dinner Evening Shift and be part of a truly unforgettable culinary experience! You’ll have the chance to witness five of Brisbane's best chefs showcase their extraordinary talents, as they serve up exquisite dishes throughout the night.

You’ll be part of an amazing team, working together to make this evening a huge success and ensure that a great time is had by all.

By volunteering, you'll be playing a crucial part in supporting the incredible work of Starlight Children’s Foundation and helping to bring happiness to seriously ill children and their families. This is your chance to help spread happiness while helping to set up for an incredible event.

Date: Friday 5th June

Time: 3:45pm to 12am

Location: W Hotel, Brisbane

Dress: All black, professional, closed toe comfortable black shoes

Dinner and either a parking voucher or Uber Voucher provided to get you home safely

Volunteer Tasks

Get ready to be part of the magic of being a Starlight volunteer! Here’s how you’ll help spread joy:

• Welcome guests to the event and support pre-event activities
• Assist with selling raffle tickets to guests
• Assist with the live auction
• Support the silent auction collection process
• Help with light pack down duties
• Support the Starlight Events Team throughout the evening

Requirements to volunteer at this event:

• All volunteers must be 18+ years of age
• Great communication skills
• We ask that all volunteers download the 'Shout Terminal' app and attend the event with a fully charged mobile phone which will be used to take payments for fundraising activities
• Be able to be on your feet for the duration of your shift (breaks provided)
• A positive attitude and willingness to embrace the Starlight SHINE values
