Endoscopy Suite Volunteer (Training Day Available 31st August)

We are seeking enthusiastic and reliable volunteers to join our Endoscopy Suite team and contribute to a positive and supportive experience for our patients. This role offers a wonderful opportunity to work alongside our nursing staff and directly impact patient comfort during their recovery.
- Ensure a welcoming environment by proactively managing refreshment supplies (tea, coffee, biscuits, sugar), keeping them readily available for patients.
- Prepare refreshment trays efficiently, allowing nursing staff to quickly personalize offerings for individual patient needs.
- Provide attentive support to patients by being available for requests and offering additional refreshments or light snacks.
- Offer companionship and a listening ear to patients who may appreciate a friendly chat.
- Maintain a clean and organised waiting area, contributing to a calm and pleasant atmosphere.
- Extend hospitality to visitors by offering them tea or coffee.
- Assist with maintaining a clean and efficient workspace by loading and unloading the dishwasher.
- Provide support to patients by accompanying them to the taxi stand or their vehicle upon discharge, as needed.
- Offer valuable assistance with clerical tasks during quieter periods in the Endoscopy Suite, as requested by staff.
