About the Centre Wakefield House Positive Ageing Centre provides fresh meals & takeaway frozen meals 5 days a week to the community – soup, main and dessert Lunch is served daily at 12
Key Tasks
• Support the healthy Eating facilitator • Food preparation • Food presentation • Cleaning & maintenance of food utensils • Operating industrial dishwasher
Skills/Knowledge/Personal Qualities • Experience in kitchen duties • Excellent hygiene practices • Ability to work under minimal supervision and manage time • Ability to work as a team member • Ability to relate to a diverse range of people
Time Commitment Thursday and Friday 9.00 am -1.30pm
Special Requirements • Must possess and provide a Department of Human Services (DHS) clearance (Aged Care Sector) and (NDIS Worker) check prior to offer of employment. These can be organised for you. • Food Safety training
