Whether you have expertise in sports administration, event organisation, or community involvement, your distinct skills can contribute to the development of a flourishing hockey culture.
We are seeking dedicated individuals to assist with one of the following:
SPORTING SCHOOLS COACH Responsible for delivering an engaging and safe program for Sporting School Clinics. Coaches receive education, resources, and support from the club and Peel Hockey Association. Attendance at pre-season inductions, committee meetings, and networking sessions is required. Coaches are paid by Peel Hockey for their sessions.
TEAM COACH Responsible for coordinating and delivering training and games to enhance participation and performance in collaboration with the Team Manager, Club Representatives, Committee, and Competition Coordinator. Provides feedback to the Senior/Junior Representative and attends relevant pre-season sessions and committee meetings.
SENIOR UMPIRE/OFFICIAL Senior players taking on umpiring duties must attend the Peel Hockey Association's pre-season rules discussion. Players interested in umpiring can do so under assessment or assist with the Junior Umpire Development Program. Those returning to the game are encouraged to attend the pre-season discussion.
JUNIOR UMPIRE/OFFICIAL Junior players in years 7 and above can join Peel Hockey Association’s Junior Umpire Development Program. Registration opens pre-season, and interested players must attend the pre-season umpire rules discussion night.
