What you’ll be doing: ·         Welcoming visitors to the Temple and grounds. ·         Leading guided tours and sharing fascinating historical insights. ·         Answering questions and helping visitors feel engaged and informed. ·         Working both independently and as part of a friendly volunteer team.

You don’t need experience – just: ·         An interest in history and local culture. ·         A friendly, polite, and approachable manner. ·         Confidence talking to people from all walks of life. ·         The ability to work alone or with others. ·         A willingness to learn (we’ll provide training!)

You’ll be part of a small friendly team that values teamwork, initiative, and great customer service. Whether you enjoy working independently or alongside others, this role offers a rewarding and enjoyable way to make a difference in our community. As a valued volunteer, you’ll also receive a National Trust Queensland Teams Card, which provides discounts on membership, travel, and experiences. You’ll be invited to team events – including volunteer recognition and Christmas celebrations – receive regular newsletters from the CEO and have access to training opportunities to support your role and personal growth.
