Meals on Wheels drivers provide an essential service to Knox residents. Drivers deliver nutritious meals, build a social connection with clients and monitor their safety and well-being. The role supports residents to live independently in their own homes.
Key responsibilities include: • Deliver meals to eligible Knox City Council residents • Provide a client welfare and safety check by, identifying any concerns and reporting these to your supervisor • Engage clients empathically and non-judgmentally • Work collaboratively with Knox staff and other volunteers • Ensure your vehicle is in road worthy condition, clean and tidy, and • Follow all road laws at all times.

Deliveries are Monday to Friday all year excluding Public Holidays. Shifts are: between 9:45 am to 12:15 pm (March to December) Shifts are: 8:45 am to 11:15 am (January and February).
