Who's involved? Our Canterbury Community Centre's Garden Care Service converts gardens to become accessible and safe for older people so that they can continue to live independently and safely at home. Your support with gardening in a team environment helps us to achieve this!

How? Experienced and friendly Horticulturalists in our team will guide and instruct you with weeding, mulching, pruning and making the garden safe, accessible and tidy.

When? Teams commence start at 9 am and finish at 12pm on a Friday.

Where? We work in people's gardens in suburbs across the Canterbury Bankstown and Inner West local government areas.

Who can I volunteer? If you're reliable, available and interested or new to gardening, we would love to have you join us and commit to gardening with us - weekly, fortnightly or monthly works. Let us know what you can commit to :)

Willingness to travel to and from the gardens is a must. Locations are across Canterbury Bankstown + Inner West - we will not ask you to go too far from where you live and you can choose where you'd like to go.
