Playgroup Assistant

As a Volunteer Playgroup Assistant, you’ll work alongside and support our Playgroup Facilitator to help create a safe, engaging, and playful environment for children (ages 0–5) and their caregivers. Your presence and support will make a meaningful impact in our community.

Responsibilities Include: • Assisting the Playgroup Facilitator with setting up and packing away toys and activities

• Welcoming families as they arrive and helping them feel comfortable

• Engaging with children through play, stories, and creative activities

• Helping maintain a clean, safe, and inclusive environment for all attendees

• Join in songs, read a story to the group when required

• Covering for Facilitator in times of absence

We’re Looking for Someone Who Is:

• Friendly, patient, and reliable

• Enjoys working with young children and their families

• Comfortable taking direction and working as part of a team

• Available Monday mornings during school terms
