Masters Swimming Victoria

Over four weeks away

Around 100 swimmers from clubs around Victoria (and even interstate) will compete at the MSV Long Distance Championships 2026. If you believe that sport should be for everyone, regardless of age and ability, and want to be part of a fun and friendly fitness event, then MSV needs you!

MSV is a not-for-profit organisation, largely run by a small but hardworking team of volunteers.

There are many ways to help at the MSV Long Distance Championships, including:

  • Timekeeping
  • Lap counting
  • Checking that swimmers are starting in the correct lane
  • Passing out refreshments to timekeepers
  • Handing out ribbons
  • Taking photos

No experience is necessary. Just a positive attitude and a desire to help facilitate a great day of racing.

Masters Swimming Victoria (MSV) is a member of Masters Swimming Australia (MSA), which is the peak body for adult swimming in Australia and affiliated with World Aquatics through Swimming Australia.

MSA's purpose is to provide an environment to develop and promote adult swimming in Australia for life.
