Do you want to make a meaningful difference in the life of an older person experiencing loneliness or isolation? Spread happiness by joining our team of dedicated Volunteers. We are seeking a friendly volunteer to visit an elderly gentleman at home in Carey Bay. Our client is a former ballroom dancer who loves sharing stories about his dancing days and his travels attending competitions.  Our client is very lonely and would love someone to come for a cuppa and a chat.

Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience for the person you visit and yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help improve quality of life and help older people feel less isolated. Your visits will bring great joy to the residents you are matched with.

We provide extensive training and ongoing support to you via our Volunteer Coordinator.
