What You’ll Be Doing:

  • Breakfast Prep and Service: Prepare and serve simple, nutritious breakfasts that give students the energy they need for the day. 
  • Provide a Friendly Welcome: Help students start their day in a fun and engaging way. Some schools include games and reading. 
  • Safety First: Ensure a safe and healthy environment. 
  • Why This Matters:
  • Make a Difference: Positively impact young students' lives before heading to your own activities or workday. 
  • Support your local school: set up students so they are ready to learn and feeling positive about their school day.  
  • Personal Fulfillment: Experience the joy of filling tummies and making mornings brighter for kids.

About you:

  • You care about children: A genuine desire to support and brighten the days of students. You are approachable, understanding and patient. 
  • You enjoy connecting: Able to interact warmly with children, school staff, and fellow volunteers. You enjoy connecting with children from diverse backgrounds.  
  • You are a team player: Ready to collaborate and contribute to a fun, energetic team.  
  • You are reliable: Punctual and dependable, ensuring a consistent, positive start for the students. 
  • You are happy to complete screening and training: We will support you to complete the screening checks and training modules we need to keep students safe. 

Requirements:

  • A belief in young people’s potential and a willingness to share your time and patience.
  • No experience required - just enthusiasm, patience, and a genuine desire to help young people thrive.
  • Reliability, but holidays are OK!
  • We will assist you to get a Working with Children Check and Education Police Clearance.
