Social Media Specialist
Electrify Yarra is a group of optimistic, non-partisan, local volunteers from all walks of life dedicated to advancing climate action in our own community.
As our Social Media Specialist, you will take responsibility for designing, writing and uploading social media for Electrify Yarra, in particular Facebook and Instagram to engage, inform, and inspire households to electrify, and drive attendance at local events.
You will develop targeting strategies to expand our reach and place and manage limited Meta ads in support of major initiatives.
Qualification/skills required are :
- Strong English skills
- Knowledge and skills in social media, particularly Instagram, including audience definition, targeting strategies and skills in or willingness to learn Meta advertising
- Ability to identify and write compelling and accurate copy for the social media posts.
- Understanding of social media analytics/Google Analytics
- Basic phone photographic and video skills
- Ability to liaise with our team for stories and other similar Melbourne and national electrify groups.
Other requirements: Must have own computer/ laptop with an internet connection.
