Key Responsibilities: • Be present at key cycling locations (e.g. Lake Burley Griffin, local events, ride hubs) to engage with cyclists and the public. • Chat with riders about the benefits of Pedal Power benefits like insurance, advocacy and others. • Distribute flyers, maps and promotional materials. • Collect informal feedback about what local cyclists care about. • Promote upcoming events, rides, and programs. • Represent Pedal Power in a positive, inclusive, and approachable way.
You’re a great fit if you: • Enjoy talking to people from all backgrounds. • Are confident and proactive in approaching individuals or small groups. • Have a basic understanding of cycling in Canberra (we’ll train you on the rest!) • Support inclusive, sustainable transport options. • Are available for 2–3 hours monthly, especially on weekends or during busy times at cycling routes.
