Cricket Umpire.

Are you passionate about cricket and keen to support the next generation of players? We’re looking for a Volunteer Umpire to help facilitate junior community cricket matches in a fun, safe, and supportive environment.

In this role, you’ll be responsible for overseeing friendly, beginner-level games (approximately two hours per match), ensuring they run smoothly and in the true spirit of cricket. You’ll coordinate with the scorer on match details such as overs, batters, and balls- and work collaboratively with the opposing team’s umpire to maintain fairness and flow.

You’ll also play a mentoring role by gently guiding players on rules and field positions when needed, while encouraging sportsmanship, teamwork, and enjoyment throughout the match.

As part of a dedicated volunteer team, you’ll support a junior cricket team throughout the season, helping young players build skills and confidence on and off the field.
