Wildlife Ambulance Team Leader

🌿 Key Responsibilities

• Support and engage our dedicated Ambulance Crew volunteers

• Coordinate driver/co-driver rosters using Sling, including:

  • Adding new members

  • Checking and filling rosters weekly

  • Communicating vacancies and late cancellations

• Interview and induct new ambulance team members

• Conduct safety induction

• Assess suitability and maintain employability standards

• Liaise with the Phone Team to ensure transport jobs are supported

• Maintain vehicle integrity, equipment readiness, and WHS compliance

• Promote participation in Driver/Co-driver workshops

• Keep accurate records and provide monthly updates to the Operations Manager

• Actively contribute to recruitment and team development with the Membership team

• Maintain professional communication via Messenger and Facebook groups

• Represent SOWFI with professionalism and enthusiasm in the community

• Is organised, responsive, and proactive

• Has a solid understanding of WHS practices

• Is comfortable using digital tools like email, Sling, Messenger, and Facebook
