Are you the creative type and enjoy knitting? Wesley Mission Queensland’s Eagleby Neighbourhood Centre team is looking for a volunteer to assist with establishing, maintaining and running a craft group with a primary focus on knitting.

This volunteer role would involve facilitating a small knitting group taking place in our Centre. It would be suitable for someone who would enjoy engaging with our participants, encouraging creativity and developing social connection and conversations as well as have the ability to engage well with people from all backgrounds.

Volunteer hours available: Monday to Sunday and are flexible. Volunteer times are negotiated prior to commencement.

Eagleby Neighbourhood Centre is a safe community hub that provides a wide range of programs, activities and services to support youth, families, children and individuals.

All our volunteers follow a COVID-19 safe work plan and provide proof that they have received one primary COVID-19 vaccinations before being registered.

Volunteers must also have a current Working with Children Blue Card and NDIS Workers Screening Clearance check before commencement. This can be applied for through Wesley Mission Queensland at no cost to you.
