Seeking a warm and welcoming volunteer to facilitate a playgroup

Position Purpose: The Volunteer Playgroup Facilitator supports the delivery of a safe, welcoming, and inclusive environment where children aged 0–5 and their parents or carers can engage in play-based learning and social interaction. The facilitator helps set up and pack down activities, encourages participation, and supports positive interactions among families.

Key Responsibilities: · Welcome families and create a warm, inclusive environment · Engage with parents, carers, and/or grandparents to support a welcoming space that encourages connection and the development of friendships · Set up and pack up toys, craft materials, and play equipment · Facilitate a variety of age-appropriate play-based activities · Encourage positive social interaction among children and parents/carers · Maintain a clean, safe play area throughout the session · Communicate any concerns or incidents to the supervisor
