Cadet Instructor / Adult Volunteers

As a YES Cadet Instructor, you will work as part of a supportive instructional team to deliver engaging, safe and meaningful training to our cadets. You will help create an environment where young people feel challenged, supported and inspired. Duties may include:
- Assisting with weekly training sessions during school terms
- Supervising and mentoring cadets aged 11–18 years
- Supporting practical skills training such as first aid, basic firefighting, teamwork, leadership and emergency response awareness
- Helping instil discipline, confidence, responsibility and respect
- Supporting camps, excursions and special activities throughout the year
- Providing positive role modelling and pastoral care
- Assisting with safety, welfare and duty-of-care responsibilities
