As a volunteer you will:

Play an important role in helping us deliver our services to clients by ensuring high-quality audio recordings and enhancing production as the very first audience.

Key responsibilities

1. To record the narration of text, according to guidelines and standards, by operating the studio computer-based, digital recording equipment. 2. To perform a quality control check of the recording as it occurs, ensuring that: · extraneous noise is excluded · the recording levels are consistent · pronunciations are correct · the narration is faithful to the text

  11. Ability to convey the organisation’s message to groups and individuals.

Skills and attributes required

Essential:

1. Experience operating a computer. 2. An aptitude to using a digital recording programe to produce recorded text in a digital format. 3. Highly developed literacy skills. 4. Knowledge of accurate word pronunciation. 5. Police Clearance dated within the last six months (If the candidate does not possess one, it can be applied for by EverAbility Group during the volunteer application process)
