Needed - Volunteers for Workshop Role Treasure Boxes - Edwardstown

Join our amazing team of volunteers at our Edwardstown Warehouse! We're looking for friendly, reliable people to help out just one day a week, safety-checking essential items for babies and children. It’s a great way to make a real difference in the lives of families while being part of a supportive team.

Volunteer Role Includes:

• Inspect donated nursery items (prams, cots, highchairs, etc.) for safety and functionality

• Clean, repair, and restore baby equipment to a high standard

• Sort and organise parts and tools in the workshop area

• Follow safety guidelines and quality control checks

• Assist in recycling unusable parts responsibly to reduce landfill

• Work independently or as part of a small, friendly team

• Help maintain a clean, organised and safe workspace

Requirements:

• Are good with your hands and enjoy fixing things

• Have strong attention to detail and take pride in your work

• Care about sustainability and reducing waste

• Can commit to at least one regular shift per week (flexible days)

• Ability to follow checklists/safety guidelines
