Social Connect is our program for adult participants, operating weekdays 9am-3pm at Gateways Support Services in North Geelong, offering an opportunity for daily engagement and skills development. Our Recreation program is for both adult and youth participants, operating weeknights, weekends, and throughout school holidays in various locations, offering an opportunity for group leisure activities and peer bonding.
Volunteers will assist our employees with creating an inclusive and supportive environment, fostering meaningful connections between individuals, and contributing to the emotional and mental health of all involved in either or both of these programs for a minimum of 25 hours.
We provide Community Services Volunteers with a full day induction regarding the policies, procedures, and purpose of Gateways Support Services, as well as, constant oversight, support, and access to all relevant materials and resources.
