Who we are looking for:
- patient, reliable and detail-oriented volunteers with a kind and respectful approach to older adults
- basic sewing skills and confidence using an iron
About this role:
- assist with ironing, mending and labelling our resident's personal laundry at Bethanie Fields in Eaton
- complete simple mending (eg buttons, small repairs)
- You will be able to use an iron and ironing board in the laundry or if you feel like being social, you will be able to iron and do any mending in the resident's room
- label clothing items to ensure they are returned to the correct resident
