Volunteer duties include:

Welcoming visitors to the property and providing information about house access and tours

Assisting with customer service and sales to enhance the visitor experience

Helping with the presentation of retail and reception area

Processing ticket and retail sales through VEND
Training:

Induction and familiarisation visit with the property and staff

Full training in the retail software used by the National Trust (NSW) and cash handling procedures

On-the-job training in customer service and retail operations including best practices for interacting with visitors and enhancing their experience
