Our Mount Isa Cart Crew are a dedicated team who are committed to providing comfort and compassion to children and their families undergoing treatment at the Mount Isa Hospital. Through our rounds in the Paediatric Ward, we strive to make a positive impact by offering various items free of charge and most importantly, smiles!

Tasks
Our Cart Crew distributes the following items to children and their families:
Snacks (biscuits, tuna and crackers, popcorn, muesli bars, shelf-ready microwave meals, etc)
Boredom busters (activity/colouring in books, toys, magazines, reading books)
Personal hygiene essentials
Volunteers will be critical to the success of the Cart and will help stock the cart, deliver the items, connect with sick children and their families and provide general well-being checks (no medical training is required).
We need you to:

Be reliable and trustworthy

Be able to obtain a Blue Card and complete a National Criminal Check

Complete an induction and introductory shift
