Become a Community Volunteer Driver

Do you enjoy driving and being on the road? Do you want to be a part of your community? Then this opportunity might be for you!

We are looking for reliable and enthusiastic volunteer drivers to drive clients to medical appointments, exercise classes and social support groups. We have a range of roles including driving an individual client or transporting small groups in our minibus.

About the Role

Access Health Community Transport are looking for volunteer drivers to join our team to provide a friendly and safe transport service to older people in our community. As a driver you will assist by picking up clients from their front door and taking them to their medical appointments, group exercise sessions, rehabilitation classes as well as other allied health appointments. There are a range of opportunities, and the hours are flexible (you choose your availability). There is no requirement to lift or give personal care assistance to our clients. This is a great way to support people in your local community by providing transport with a cheery disposition.
