Advertised by Albury Wodonga Volunteer Resource BureauWe welcome people from all professional and community backgrounds and environmental experience is not required. We are looking for skills in areas such as finance, governance, HR, community engagement, sustainability, or strategic planning.
Above all, Board members should be committed to WULN’s values, willing to contribute their time and expertise, and able to work constructively as part of a team.
Board members share responsibility for ensuring WULN operates effectively and in line with its vision. This includes:
- Attending and actively participating in Board meetings
- Contributing to the development and monitoring of the Strategic Plan
- Reviewing and approving policies, budgets, and projects
- Ensuring risks are managed and finances are monitored
- Supporting the Facilitator and staff through appropriate supervision and reporting
- Representing WULN in the community and building positive relationships with stakeholders
