Upper Murray Family Care

Advertised by Albury Wodonga Volunteer Resource Bureau

As a volunteer at our Family Camps, you’ll play an important role in creating fun, safe, and memorable experiences for children and young people with disability and their families. You’ll always be supported by trained staff and work alongside others in a friendly, team-based environment.

What you’ll do:

  • Join in social and recreational activities such as craft, cooking, sport, board games, bowling, hiking, canoeing, and outdoor play.
  • Support children and young people either one-on-one or in small groups.
  • Help create a safe, supportive, and inclusive space for participants, families, staff, and other volunteers.
  • Communicate respectfully with participants—this may include using verbal communication, pictures, or simple hand gestures.
  • Follow OHS requirements relevant to the role.
  • Ask questions, seek guidance, and raise concerns when you’re unsure—our team is here to help.
