🌞 Make Someone’s Weekend - Volunteer in Residential Care Waratah or Cardiff

🌟 Make Someone’s Weekend – Join Our Volunteer Team! 🌟
Looking for a meaningful and uplifting way to spend your weekend? The HammondCare Volunteer Program offers a wonderful opportunity to bring joy, connection, and companionship to older people in the Hunter community.
Whether you’re passionate about sports 🏀, art 🎨, gardening 🌿, pets 🐾, baking 🧁, yoga 🧘♂️, music 🎶, movies 🎬, or simply enjoying a warm chat over coffee ☕—you can share what you love with someone who will truly appreciate it.
As a Weekend Volunteer Social Visitor, you’ll spend time one‑on‑one or in small groups with residents in a care home, offering genuine connection, companionship, and moments that brighten their day—and yours. Even a short visit can create a lasting impact 🌼.
Give just a little of your weekend, and make a big difference in someone’s life.
Please note: Volunteer interviews and Orientation are held on weekdays during business hours.
Your impact
Volunteering as a social visitor can be a rewarding experience, both for the person you visit as well as yourself. Regular visits from volunteers can help to improve quality of life and help people feel less isolated.
HammondCare is a provider of The Aged Care Volunteer Visitor Scheme funded by the Australian Government and is established to promote links between elderly people and volunteers in their local community.
HammondCare
HammondCare is an independent Christian charity and we're passionate about improving the quality of life for people in need. We have a wonderful group of volunteers that partner with us to enhance the lives of people cared for by HammondCare.
