Our clubs are looking to find some amazing volunteers over a variety of days and with different interests. Availability is between Monday - Friday with structured activities in the morning and then again after lunch. You can volunteer between the hours 9.30am-2.30pm.
Preferably you are comfortable with dementia and you align to be connected to our clients and the activities planned for the day amongst all other things you could be assisting with: Kinross club have a pool table and a shed to undertake projects Alexander Heights club are looking to do some gardening in their outdoor area Lefroy club are looking for musicians who love to play and sing Bassendean club allrounder - enjoys all sorts of activities and longer volunteer hours
Types of activities you could be involved with
Amana Living Volunteers work alongside the day club team, you can be involved in activities like chatting, board games, reading books, music sessions, bingo, bus trips, pamper sessions, art and craft, cooking, quizzes, walking groups and so much more. If you have a hidden talent like chess, knitting or gardening please let us know. Smiling and laughing are contagious, make a difference in someone's life today.

How it works
The first step is to apply online at the Amana Living website under Volunteer, you will be required to create a profile and fill in an application directly through Amana Living (separate to the expression of interest) and we are here to support you through the whole process. We have a meeting with you about the roles available, locations, your interests and compliance required. All volunteers receive orientation at site, further training when required, support and access to current information on volunteering and aged care. References are available upon request.
At Amana Living, volunteers become part of the team, making a real difference and enjoying the positive reward of the Amana Living Community. Our volunteers also have opportunities to connect with other like-minded individuals at regular social events during the year.
