When disaster strikes, SAES is often on the frontlines, providing vital support to communities in need. From serving hot meals and refreshments to offering a place to rest and someone to talk to, our teams are there to make a difference when it matters most.
As part of our Catering Team, you'll provide meals and refreshments to emergency services personnel straight from our custom catering trucks. Under the guidance of the SAES Site Team Leader, you’ll be involved in everything from food prep and meal service to set-up, operation, and clean-up in a fast-paced, high-energy environment.
Some of the jobs a volunteer may be required to do is cook food on one of our trucks, serve food, drive the truck to an incident, assist in cleaning the truck after a job, help with meal preparation at our warehouse in Malaga, etc. There are numerous tasks to suit a variety of skillsets.
