For over 70 years Bethanie has been warmly welcoming older West Australians into a caring and personal environment. Our Bethanie community is enriched by the generous support of our caring volunteers.
Who we are looking for:
- a kind, caring and patient volunteer to provide invaluable 1-1 social support to one of our lovely residents at Bethanie Gwelup, whilst conversing in Italian and helping the resident improve their English language skills.
About the role:
- visits can be spent doing something both you and the resident enjoy whether that be playing a game, listening to music, chatting, reminiscing or going for a walk.
- no special skills are needed except for a friendly and caring nature and good listening and communication skills. Our friendly team will be there to guide and support you.
