Membership Coordinator

Our Mission is simple but powerful: to improve the mental and physical well-being of our community by creating opportunities to connect. As a Membership Coordinator, you’ll be helping to bring that mission to life by:

Engaging with Activities: You’ll regularly attend (or connect with) our activities - such as 5 weekly walks, 2 game sessions, and 3 craft sessions to sign up new members and keep the community vibrant.

Membership Promotion: Help spread the word about our membership opportunities and ensure new participants are aware of essential details like parking procedures for activities, shop locations, and upcoming events.

Communication: You’ll send out a monthly update (via email or other communication channels) to keep all our members in the loop about new activities, changes, and exciting news.

Collaboration: Work closely with our Social Media Manager to share stories of our amazing volunteers and groups, highlighting the positive impact we’re making in the community.

Building Community: Bring your creative ideas to the table on how to better connect our community, helping our members and volunteers feel valued and supported.

5-10 hours per week Our Membership Coordinator can work from home but will need to liaise with someone from groups to be aware of new members as well as have the opportunity to meet either on line or in person weekly with the chairperson or secretary.

For discussion with volunteer manager. Cost of police check is not covered by the organisation.

This role is perfect for someone with a warm, compassionate personality and a genuine love of engaging with people.
