For over 70 years Bethanie has been warmly welcoming older West Australians into a caring and personal environment. Our Bethanie community is enriched by the generous support of our caring volunteers.
Who we are looking for:
- warm, patient and reliable volunteers for regular, short visits to spend time chatting and engaging in unstructured recreational activities with our female residents
- comfortable chatting with older women and are a good listener who enjoys building rapport and social connections
- able to commit to regular visits for relationship building
About the role:
- provide companionship through conversation, reading, playing a board game, sharing interests or listening to music together
- build social connections through regular one-to-one or small group visits
