For over 70 years Bethanie has been warmly welcoming older West Australians into a caring and personal environment. Our Bethanie community is enriched by the generous support of our caring volunteers.
Who we are looking for:
- patient, compassionate and reliable volunteers who are comfortable engaging with older adults
- physically fit as you may be required to push residents in wheelchairs, sometimes over long distances
About this role:
- this wonderful volunteer opportunity invites you to help make a meaningful difference by providing assistance to our Bethanie staff and engaging socially with residents during bus outings to local cafes, shopping centres or community events
- our staff organise the trips; all we need is your time, smile and willingness to help others.
This role is currently available at the following times/locations (subject to change):
Bethanie Joondanna - Tuesday mornings 9:30am - 11:30am Bethanie Subiaco - every Tuesday weekly, and Wednesdays (fortnightly) 10:00am - 3:00pm, and Friday mornings
